Ooops...little slow here...missed that part....
moving right along...
Shoulder is a tad better...worked today...only aches...not even close to what you and NY are going through. Thanks for asking...
I was so eager to get home I forgot to turn the customers water back on after I capped some old pipes off. I was almost home and got a call from her...I walked her through it...whew...Think I'm slipping. Is it time to go yet?

Islenutt,

How'd you like the video? Just 4-weeks from Friday - are you excited? Why Hell Yes!!!

On a more serious note we learned Friday that one of our co-oworkers lost his son in the war in Iraq.

Lance Corporal Thomas A. Blair, 24, Broken Arrow OK., was lost in a fight a week ago Sunday and was listed as "Where abouts unknown".
Saturday they notified his dad that his son was found in a tank that had been destroyed in the battle on the previous Sunday. Apparently, a RPG hit the vehicle - we can only hope he felt no pain.
I did not know the young man, but I do know his dad, and if the son is anything like his dad, he was a God-fearing, honest, hard working individual. Who undoubtedly gave his ALL.

Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to the family in their time of loss.
THE WAR HIT HOME!

Axe,

Me and the little Shark lady get in late on the 2nd (no dive that day). But I could do a night dive on Saturday or Sunday beofe you leave on Monday the 5th. Sunday might be cutting it a little close for your flight out.

Let me know if this will work for you and we'll do a night dive.

You say you're staying at the Holiday Hotel? We are booked at the Blue Tang at the other end of town, but I bet we can find you.

The Shark

I
River Shark -
My condolences to Thomas Blairs family.
My son is just a year younger and I can't imagine anything more heart breaking than losing a child.

The tape is great so far. I am almost through the Belize part but have to find time to finish. It is good but still doesn't do AC justice - you will be pleasantly surprised!

And "Why Hell Yes!!!" doesn't come close to how excited I am about this trip!

23 work days
31 1/2 total days

I might just make it!!!

If we book on the 3rd the boat will pick us up. No need to meet..unless you want to check gear. I can set it up. Just let me know...I'll have time to check prices.
Are we there yet?

Islenutt,
I have a son who will be 21 soon and can not imagine having him taken from this world.
I went out at lunch and got a card for the family - but I haven't come up with the words yet.
Guess I'll keep trying.

Axe,
Man you're on. I'm diving in the AM on Saturday, but if you set it up I'll be there. I'm diving with Hustler - so that would be real convienent for me and I think I get a FREE night dive in the package I bought. But what ever you setup is OK I've got lots of time to do the Freebee.

We're staying at the Tang, under my protection program name - Richard Phillips.

Ok...I'll whisper....Sounds good. I'll check with Hustler and see what they can do..then see what else is possible for an alternate.
I thought you witness protection people had to keep your name a secret... laugh

Evening,
Thanks, am so looking forward to it even though Windjammer sort of screwed it up a bit. Things are worked out now so now the only thing I have to worry about is the airlines changing things around but so far the Caribbean seems safe enough for no cancellations. Arrive in Belize City about 1:30p.m the 21st and hopefully on the beach at Bananas by 3:30ish or so.....oh no, my suit is black too!!!! ; ) WEll, black with some flowers......See ya all there soon......Only 40 more work hours in this hell hole....
