I wish I could go now....waited way too long, procrastinated, played the martyr in the office...no time now sigh

Hey NYGal ... that was one that I bookmarked, as it looked promising. Don't wanna sound all concerned with the "looks" thing, but have been to Bermuda and the Bahamas a couple of times and well, and made a bad choice of where to stay. Hubby and I are way laid back, and I get excited about buying a new pair of flip-flops! Usually don't care much about the "what I look like" action, but face it, I'm a female and find it rather disconcerting when lying beside a model-look-alike who happens to be perfect size 8 with a golden tan, not a bugling varicose vein to be seen, white teeth ... and to top it off, turns out to be a really nice person! (hmmm … I gotta work on my attitude!)

Once the commitment is made you will then have fun planning for your visit

Relax...."are we there yet".......no one really cares about others looks...seriously. They are too concerned with their own persona. Belize is so laid back.....Don't worry Be happy.

Although lately I'm more like a size 6 with a bit of a pudge. Too much coffee icecream and Reeses Cups these past two months me thinks.
Honest though, you will love the Placencia area. It's VERY laid back and if that's what you are looking for, you got it!
Have a GREAT time and DO report back to the board with a trip report! I am yearning to go back to Belize, but me thinks it's not in my near future.

Okee dokee ... well I've done my part. Gave the "short list" to the Pastor guy for his input.(huh short??? ... don't think so - there must have been 15 or more places that I listed, on AC and Placencia). Such a dear he is too ... since I know that he'll just let me make the final decision. Hmmm .... slips of paper and a hat just might be the deciding factor.
