Been watching the Cards avidly since returning from San Pedro in early May. They took their pedal off the metal about two weeks prior to the end of the season...and they really did not return to their mid-season form. They played just really great for 2 months...and my only regret was that the nation were not able to see them play when everything was clicking. I'm happy to have seen it myself, but in reality; The Red Sox had a remarkable 8 game streak and I doubt if the 1927 Yankee's could have beaten them this series.

That's right, KLC about boring lies in the eyes of the beholder. Just expected a bit more from the Cards to give the series some excitement, is all...

Well, I guess since it is over, I don't have to worry about watching the suspense from some bar in Maui this week!
