We live in Wimberley, about 35 miles SW of Austin in the Hill Country, and commute to Austin. The whole Austin and Hill Country metro area is growing too fast. It's nice here if you don't mind all the 'sips. I could use a Belikin about now.

LaurieMar - does that mean taking another bar exam? Brush up on oil rights - that wasn't on the CA state bar but I hear it's big on the Texas bar!

I've lived in a lot of states, but not TX - visited a lot though - my favorite so far is Austin - very artsy, great restaurants and night life. The humidity in Sac is nothing compared to the midwest - but that's what air conditioning is for! Looking forward to a visit to San Antonio later this fall. All the Texas info above is fun reading!

Law: Always wanted to check out San Antonio. I am going to try to do that sometime soon. Only thing is, heard from a good source that our biz has too many folks down there, just like here!

Gotta agree with Kevin .... ( DFW) is a great place & I don't think everyone around here is "snooty".....Mesquite is just far enough out to be close to everything, buy I guess everyone can't move here, It's crouded enough now.......

IMHO---- :p :p :p

There were over 10,000 people at the airport at 3:00 am to welcome them back after game 5. I guess there is not much else going on in San Antone these days.

Don't think I would be out at an airport at 3 a.m, but I do love a good NBA game. Go Spurs (even though I am a Kings fan!). Gotta stick with the boys in the Western Conference.

Same here, I'm a huge fan but no airports at 3am for me. I'm not even going to attempt going downtown either. Having a party at my place in front of the high-def big screen smile
