Why the West Coast of Scotland as opposed to other areas? My grandmother was born & raised in Montreal. I would loveto go there also someday to expolore some family history.

My early years were spent just outside of Glasgow and I still have memories of the area. Not much had changed on my last trip and I even found the little farmhouse that we stayed in on vacation as kids on the Isle of Mull. Every corner you turn is another jaw dropper for scenery. My most recent experience was the West Coast, next time I'll probably do 3 weeks and explore other areas and down further into England. Last time I spent a week and a half in Scotland, a few days with my family in Newcastle (Warkworth is a beautiful town just north, stay above the pub) followed by a wasted week in Holland that would have been better used in the UK.

Love the diving in Roatan, but my best trip was a trip to Africa, did a 10 day safari through Tanzinia & Kenya, followed by one week of Diving off the coast of Tanzinia.(Manta Reef Resort) What a eye opener, but it was something I always wanted to do after watching all those Tarzan movies.Went to Munich Germany this year for October Fest, what a Blast!!

You're right southern Argentina, Patagonia are wonderful. Was there last year as well. Could probably live without Terre del Fuego again, but Calfate and the glaciers were awsome.
