Hey - ya only need so much music - I got the 2 gb as a birthday present. I've just started loading, but am now getting picky - don't want whole CD's and am picking and choosing songs - Clover answered my question - I had some doubt that I could get 500 songs with a lot of extended play versions. Still - who really needs more than 14 hours of music? and by the way - I LOVE itunes!

hmmmm my sister and boyfriend must be crazy cause they want more space. lol. he filled his with over 800 songs in the fist week.

I just left my collection with Don And Carol at Canucks......40 gigs....7700 songs....Creative Zen mp3 player. Who needs XM radio?

C's Phones and CDs can repair I-Pod software errors and can update them as well.

law - I bought one back in September. I have the 4gb. Currently, I have 339 songs taking up 1.30 gb. As I ripped the songs, I did select my favorites. I made play lists too - I have one called Island Songs that Laurie and I listened to on the long ride to southern Costa Rica.

The advantage the ipod nano has over some of the others is that it has flash memory - not a mini hard drive so it can take a beating (if you drop it it won't die) and you can jog, etc. with it.

I like that my computer has the tunes too - so I listen to them at work and my nano at home through my stereo
