Teachers and Public service union have joinned telecommunications workers on strike. There will be a big rally in Belize City today, so avoid the downtown area if you can, it'll be conjested. Assume services will be sporadic til the unions get what they want-new elections.

Just another day in Belize City. People going about their biz, kids in school, services operating. Listen to the news tonight, see what happened out district. Sentiments on the streets seem to be shifting somewhat. Nation is going thru collective introspection and soulsearching trying to determine what they want to be, what they leave the next generation and still be best for the immediate future. Tall order.
