Oh yeah, I still take pictures with disposables. The good thing is that the developer will give me my pics on a disc so I can load them on my computer. Of course, my computer doesn't have quite enough memory for all the pics I've taken but I'll get there someday, right?

Ambiguity in language is despised by engineers, but it's a key factor in expanding the way in which we think about technology tools. Most tech specifications are dispassionate descriptions; most people need the opposite. They need better imagery to build their virtual worlds. That's why I think every technology teams needs an explainer, one that carries the same weight as any member of the team, one that can keep it real for consumers by asking pquestions during the design process

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

Krazy K. When my daughter comes back next week I am sure she'll be happy to help you figure it out. She put her pix on her ipod in no time. She even knows how to move photos from her phone onto mine. Of course I don't know how to look at them without her help! But it is all really cool.

Law, thank you very much for offering to walk me through it.

Amanda, that would be great if I just brought my laptop in and your daughter could just show me on the computer, it would save Law a lot of time probably explaining it via pm. talk to you soon!

Seashell, you made me laugh, listen to this..... we were on a road trip this spring and I found a big pile of books on tape at a truck stop for $2.50 each. Problem, I had no tape player, but I could not pass the deal up. I went to the store and bought a tape walkman for $5.00. I look pretty silly on my road trips with my tape walkman on, my kids (4 and 7), laugh at me. Oh, how times are a changin'. That's cool, I did not know you could do books on the ipod. I might have to check it out now. Thanks for sharing.

Glad I could make you smile. And as for your quick wittedness regarding the tape walkman, I still have my old tape walkman and I've considered doing the same. smile

Actually, I haven't been by the library in a while. For all I know, there's books on CD now too.

SS - you know I just love you to death and I'll hang out with you anytime; I know you didn't mean to put that or in there. wink

LOL!! I love you to death too, so of course, I didn't mean the *or* the way it read.

I'm dreaming of Bananas Picasso.
