SamScuba, I would have likely done more than yelling at them. How mean. Poor croc, likely scared to death. Granted, not what you want to swim up to you if you are in the water, but still no need to be mean. Just don't understand people like that. I think people who are mean to animals have no soul..not a lecture, just my opinion.

It's been said over & over by many of us...it's an accident waiting to happen!

We have a "Few" crocs living in a lagoon next to our place in Buena Vista, One must be about eight feet long. I personally avoid walking too close to the edge of the lagoon as I have observed just how fast those suckers can move if they want to. No kidding at all folks they can actually leap at you! Not to mention they can run at a pretty good pace (30 miles per hour + - )Those golf carts don't quite get it if one of those crocs wants to challenge it. I've been very close to one once and it flipped around 180 degrees in a split second and scared the s#!t out of me Learned my lessen

2 miles north ,my jersey brother.are you saying next trip up north I should pack some heat ,just to protect myself.never thought about it till now?? maybe I will rent the golf cart ,with a steel cage?? mesh wrap around ??..And i am still waiting for a invite on your yacht.!!when are you down next..

CaptJeff, I "bumped" The post "Water taxi" in about ambergris caye section so you can read my responce to your post. Queenie, You too are on the 2miles VIP yacht list.(Yes KLC, you too! ) Now I just have to get my butt back down there to take "Ya'll" out on it!
