For many people out there, it's the perfect combination - Alice in Chains and football. On Sunday, November 12, Alice in Chains will be performing the National Anthem at the Minneapolis Metrodome where the Minnesota Vikings will take on the Green Bay Packers. Yes folks, there is a God. Alice in Chains is back on tour. My brother in law e-mailed me that he saw them in Toronto on Sunday night. "Went to see Alice In Chains on Sunday night in Toronto. Man were they good! Not sure if the new singer is permanent and they're going to record with him or if they're just touring to see how it goes. They played about 2 hours and did 7 or 8 acoustic numbers half way through. You would have loved it." Phil's band is 2112 for anyone living in the T.O. area ( www.2112.ca ).

I can think of any number of things to do that don't involve sitting in front of my computer all day. Must be really boring for you. I would love to be walking toward the split, thinking about taking a swim, then having an adult beverage and soaking up an absolutly amazing view. LOL! Well I gave up after the third quarter and we took the boat out and spent the day on the sea and watched the sun set. Certainly MUCH better than watching the stinky Vikings!!!! Sit in front of a computer all day? A lot of us do that if that is our job and business! Yeah, it kinda sucks at times to spend 2 hours in the late morning and 2 hours in the evenings tending to your business but one has to do what one has to do to earn a living Good thing there's beach breaks often

Coolbummings, thanks. Lightening up forsure! But some of them are in very cold places and....well. Anyways, like you said lighten up. I do use my laptop to monitor my business often from the wireless spots/hotels on the beach. No clue what that girl meant about "luxurious as you want to..." Never did I say that.

Thanks Nova, hard not to have a good attitude being here There are plenty of positives to where you are too! Wherever one goes, I believe to look for the positive points in each place. When we think positive, we attract positive. Those who think negative, well... including myself during times I think negative. I am certainly happy to go from 12 hour business days to 4 hours business days and no longer deal with scraping my ice and snow off the windows to drive.

On a football note, the Grey Cup plays this weekend in Winterpeg (that is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for those of you who are geographically-challenged). Real football is played no matter what the weather and OUTDOORS. Alouettes vs. the Lions!

T Smitty, Yes Packers fan here. I know I have many other team choices within 90 miles of my town (Giants, Jets, Eagles) But I like the fact that the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay and the city supports them so well. Oh yea and they beat the vikings at Minnesota yesterday. Bill , you ok man  I wore my #4 Favre jersey yesterday, (Maybe thats why they won )
