What about holding your wallet?

I have a wife for that!!

If you have a wife, why would you need a wallet? Besides to hold pictures of the family?

OK, dcg. Here's the scoop. I carry a wallet to hold my id. This is necessary because when I go shopping with the lovely Mrs Bobber, she picks out what she wants and abandons me at the checkout. I will write the check and be asked for id. I have it right there in my wallet. She keeps hers in her purse. Purse being defined as a receptacle for stuff that is immediately transported to another dimension. Were she asked to provide id, it would take hours to locate. By having a wallet holding my id, we can be out in minutes.

Only reason I carry mine is to carry ID to prove I'm old enough to drink adult beverages to all the barkeeps that ask. As for purses, kinda the same as dryers and socks. Some things enter only to never be seen again.

Purse, also known as "personal black hole" I have stuff that I am still looking for in mine.

How about a new reality show. Producers put a fender from a '52 chev in each of four womens purses. The first one to find the item in their purse wins something really stupid. :rolleyes:

Mrs. Bobber is such a lucky woman!!!

How do you know Mrs. Bobber is a woman?
