I have never been kicked off the pier at night,and have never been hassled here.I have had a dog [#%!] on my cart several times though.

The not allowed on the dock at night rule is a new one and has been sent out to owners who rent their units to tenants- the rule about tenants being not allowed to have guests at the pool is also a new one. You are very lucky not to have been hassled, but a lot of tenants at the Royal Palms have been.

I did want to point out that Royal Palms has some of the nicest residents you could wish to have as neighbours. It is only a tiny minority of difficult individuals who are unpleasant. It is a beautiful location and we feel very grateful to live here. More lovely people are moving in and as can be seen from this thread, there is a great feeling of solidarity in the community amongst the sensible and sane folk. The best thing to do is ignore the crazies and their lackies and enjoy.

So let me see if I have this straight....whether I rent a condo from an owner inside OR outside the rental pool, short term or long term, I am denied use of the swimming pool (despite the fact that it is highlighted in the rental pool marketing materials) AND nocturnal use of the dock?

Crazy does not seem to be the appropriate descriptive term here. What is the rationale?

Being a full-time owner and resident of The Royal Palm,I have never received a set of New Rules regarding the pier and other silly rules,but,that does not suprise me,they seem to be lacking any type of manangement or they just tell you things and monies disappear and blame the former manager.If you have seen a set of these rules,please be more than neighborly and drop a set to 11c,and watch out for the attacking,barking,pool-drinking,boxer.
