We are at Costa Maya until early afternoon. If we miss each other you can make an appointment in town for your pictures to be taken and your Island Ferry Gold Card produced. Call me on my cell phone at 610 3411 when you get to town. The Gold Card will be available in August but possibly at a different low season rate.

Just came back from our first trip to AC. Stayed at Costa Maya. Could not have been more pleased. It was a fine resort. We enjoyed the boat rides to town. The road for the golf cart looked awful rough. The people that went to town on it said once was enough. Again the folks at Costa Maya sure made us feel at home.

On the boat rides back and forth. Do they stop at different resorts along the way? ...picking up passagers

There are stops at different resorts and private houses along the way. Trip into town from Costa Maya ussually takes 30 minutes. Number of stops depends on demand.

Is the island ferry gold card available to everyone? Or is this just for Costa Maya resort?

Does anyone know if they have safes in the rooms at Costa Maya Reef Resort.

There are safes in the rooms at Costa Maya (at least there was in ours)they are electronic and a combination can be set very easily.
