Thanks for asking....
We are back...arrived back home about 12 midnight Sat.
My husband and son did drive the golf cart up to Costa Maya Reef on Saturday, Aug 4th the day the storm blew in...What a storm...I felt like I was back in Florida. I went by water taxi up to Costa Maya Reef. The other couple that was with us drove their golf cart up too. They all showed up muddy. Nothing that a couple of drink couldn't fix.
A couple of days later. I did ride from town to Costa Maya Reef in the golf cart with my husband and son...only after several drinks did they talk me in to it. I did it. What an adventure. Took about 35 minutes. Two other couples at the resort rented a golf cart for a couple of days and took the adventure too. Yes, It was Carole, Mike, Bob and Sue..
They were so much fun!!!

Hey Ruth,

Thanks for the response. I noticed in the arial shot that there is a building in the back. Is that for guests? That is so where I don't want to be! I've been writing down all the email addresses so prior to our trip I can email and request ocean front. Thanks again.
