Just returned from 9 days on the Island. In the past we shopped @ the Island Market every trip down. This time "NO WAY JOSE" didn't happen. Lots of other stores to patronize on the Island where the owners and employees appreciate your business. I personally witnessed an argument going on sometime last year @ Island supermarket cart rental where the Manager threw the rental customer out of the store, Had a bad feeling about the place every since (I now think my feeling was right)

I'm just curious 2miles. If you live north, why would you have been shopping all the way down at Island Supermarket?

The next similar supermarket in town by the statue has some Spagetti Hamburger Helper that expired in Aug. 2004. I have been monitoring this for 2 years. Still wondering how long it will last and I am glad I was not betting on when it would sell. There are still 2 left.If they took everything expired off the shelves the store would be half empty/full.It also amazes me that all the dairy products have the same smudges on the dates.
What are the odds?
