LOL LA, ya know those olives HAD your name on them!

Dan, I really don't think that the Spanish airport security people care what the US TSA printout says. As far as that goes, I'm not sure that the US TSA cares what the printout says either.

I'd like to see Homeland Security tell us how many airliners have been hijacked with a jar of olives. What's a terrorist going to say? "Let me in the cockpit, you infidel, or so help me allah I'll stuff olives in the stewardess' nostrils and smother her." Oh, well, it's good to know that the government is in control.

Dan, my thoughts exactly.

LA, you never know: I hear the south of France produces killer olives due to the great influence of Spain and France very nearby. A jar of olives may make it back to the U S of A this time.

Dan, not only olives but apparantly PeanutButter is extremely dangerous. Thanks to TSA, TacoBoy didn't get one very large peanutbutter order! (Liquid or jell? I never quite figured that one out.)

what breakfast looks like in one particular olive-loving (aren't they all?) town in turkey...where meals are always a lingering social event.

SJ, too many olives for me at breakfast time! LOL Though, I do love how mealtime in Europe is a long, lingering social event.

On my last night in Spain, I wanted a martini, straight up, dirty, with olives. They didn't know what I was talking about and I never did get my olives! Who would have thunk that? With Spain being a major olive export country and all.

That is absolutely ridiculous!! IMO those TSA screeners were using a power play on this woman!! That kind of stuff makes me plain angry! I hope she gets her apology and more!
