Never see any US coins around here...they aren't accepted as money...only US paper money is usable.

hhhmmmm - never thought about that - I better start collecting pennies for you then. I'll be sure to bring some dollar bills to leave there too

Jesse, the new US $1 coin was accepted by everyone, but maybe as a curiosity like the $2 bill.
Tell the 18 & 19 year old's to stay away from the Viper Rum. I'm not kidding, it's a 190+ proof with a real snake in it!
When I was there in March there was a group of college kids I got to know and they had ball with no trouble. They made sure to stay in groups of two or more.

Thanks for the scorpion info. Being from the great white north, most of my experience with them has been from old Westerns on TV. Sounds like they're not as bad as I have been lead to believe (ie, fatal).
I'll be sure to bring some pennies, and the Benadryl. And maybe a fork, in case I decide to try the local remedy!
