San Pedro "Public" Supermarket is quite nice! Just opened this week and prices are quite competetive on some items and it seems to be a half grocery store/ half liquior store.

Seems we have some real creative grocery store names. We have a San Pedro Supermarket and now a San Pedro Public Supermarket. (and then all the small stores named after the person that owns them) Good thing they let us know this one is "public"
Woulda hated to walk in and been told "you need to leave the supermarket...it's another supermarket that's PRIVATE!"

Wow, there are private supermarkets here? lol

You better get your membership fast before they run out.

They have been open for at least a month and I think their name is a spin off of PUBLIX supermarket in the States. I could be wrong tho.. The guy who opened it had Alibabas before handing that buisness off to his little brother. Nice guy.

There is a big Publics supermarket in Belize City for years, same folks, new location.

Yeah, I think it is named after the Publics supermarket in the city - very popular store.

So Omar opened a grocery store? Cool. Where is it exactly? I know it is next to Amal's Hardware but I don't know where Amal's is.

Right across from Monkey Bites (Exotic Caye aka Playador), round the corner from Road Kill.
