Have you tried Gordo's? My father has recently opened Gordo's Burritos and More on Seagrape Dr just west Road Kill Bar and Crazy Canucks. It is a casual and very inexpensive little treasure that serves up a wonderful Belizean stewed chicken with a heaping portion of rice and beans. We have just returned from a 10 day visit and I couldnt resist eating there nearly everyday...so much to sample and so little time!I may be somewhat biased however, I am giving a very honest opinion! :>)

I drive by Gordo's often and thought it looks like a good place to try. I'll add it to the list.

Gordo's Burritos and More is located on Seagrape Dr just west of Crazy Canucks and Road Kill Bar. He opened in Jan. He offers a wide range of menu items at very reasonable prices. Tortillas are made fresh on-site. He offers Belizean Stewed chicken w/ rice and beans for $9 Belize, $6 Belize fresh fruit daquiris, triple layered quesadillas, fish tacos, french bread pizzas,pizza quesadillas, slow-cooked pork, ice cream and more.Open daily for lunch and dinner. Great space for large parties and special events as it has a large grassy area with swings.

We are Gordo's fans. Friendly, good portions, tasty food, good prices.

I often stop by when cycling past for a watermelon juice - just 3BZD. Their burgers are huge!

The teachers on the beach made the best chic w/ r n' b at the Cinco de Mayo event!

Best rice and beans are from Jambel Jerk Pit. Also best cole slaw.
