Is there one of these in every room?!

What a wonderful guy this is - Mr. Paz - fondly called Tio. I'm not sure just how old he is - up in his 80's but he still climbs the stairs and takes people to their rooms. A true San Pedrean!

Does anyone know how he got the name Tio Pil..or ..does it mean anything?

"Pil" is short for "Felipe" , his name, and "Tio" means "Uncle"

He had the only cargo boat in the late 50's, a sailboat that actually had a motor, called the "Elsa P", I believe named for a relative of the mayoress 'Elsa Paz', if not for Elsa herself. She was a small child then.
