Come on Ernie, you're not that old! However, a couple of years ago, after we had observed about 4 wakes in a row at B.C.s, Charlene did tell Thurston and I she wouldn't let us run a bar tab anymore!

Stuart and Beverly from the ol Green Parrot. Had so much fun with them when we'd go up to visit (and watch Bev cringe when the parrots used to to yell 'lets party' and then LAUGH for 20 minutes!

How about the old Britsh chap that used to hang out at Tarzans and Fido's in a Speedo--in his 90's
I want to say Sir Edmund but I remember being chastized by him for not saying it right.
God I wish I had a picture of him.

Belizeonthebeach reminded me of George Vietch. He was the manager of the Barrier Reef Hotel (old Blake house) for years.

There is a Sir Edward maintains a home here, but I don't remember seeing him in a speedo.

So now that it is cocktail hour, how about some of our favorite stories??? I just pulled out a copy of the old "Coconut Wireless". Editor in Chief was the unforgettable Linda Cornelison. Funniest newspaper I've ever read. This particular issue featured one of our island legends (Name withheld). Seems the gentleman was house sitting up north, decided to make it a night in town. He picked up a Honduran hooker and left in the house owners boat. Unfortunatly the boat was out of gas. When the home owners returned and saw no sign of the housesitter or boat, they panicked and called out a search party. The happy couple were eventually found on a neighboring Caye. The headline of the "Coconut Wireless" reads. "This gives new meaning to being blown offshore". I have saved this copy for many years as it is a classic.
