is this ok?

Could this be because I am using a low resolution?

the width is good but 33 kb is making it pixilated blown up

I thought it was larger than that.

In CS3 I used 72 resolution and 8 X 11 inches, then when saving it I used 3 as a low file size which showed about 96K.

Does it get resized when uploading??

I don't know what resolution/size you are using to capture your images. I use a very large size/large resolution and save each untouched image as a tiff. Then I resize them for other purposes; usually 4 x 6" with a resolution of 300 and save as a JPEG. This size still makes a decent print (It's what all newspapers want) and goes across the internet OK. I only use a 72 resolution if I don't want anyone to be able to copy/print my image.

Dito Scubaldy. Its what I do as well. I use 72 on the website because thats a requirement as well as with my agent. Not sure how these photos are protected here so a low rez is what I want to use but I now know I don't have to use the size that is required on my website. All a learning process. Thanks for your help girlfriend.
