That's my problem. I cannot download anything. I don't have a computer. WEBTV is a browser that attaches to your TV. I know WEBTVers are always complaining on the message forum for WEBTV that we can't get JAVA and you need it to access so many sites.

The only thing they offer me when I ask about getting into another chat room besides Talk City is that I need the server address and port #. And maybe that won't even work.

Thanks for taking time to help me out tho. I really enjoy the message board. I'll have to get off my cheap butt and get a computer sometime I guess.

Do you mean that Cloud9 is the server address and Ruth is the port #? They said that most of the time the port # is 6667. Ring a bell?

I guess I was desperate...reaching for anything. My husband says that was probably the whole point of the chatroom...to create a chatroom I can't get into...to ditch me! Let's just say you aren't the only one LOL!

I have a computer at work (no internet access tho) and I would just hate to have to sit a desk staring at a little screen at home too! That's why I like the WEBTV...I can relax on the couch and surf to my heart's content...except to Java sites...AARRGG!!

It was not set up to keep you out....I promise. It was set up for the members here and anyone that is interested in ambergris caye or the whole of Belize..to get together and enjoy themselves....share something in common.
