We picked HC school because we did not want kids of our own and knew that was a good place to get our fill of kid energy and help the community in an area that really needed it. We started there from the ground up - moved onto being the school party planners once the school was built and as it kept growing took a step back let the teachers take on that job and now enjoy doing the school blog.

I also support other causes on my blog - there are so many worthy things that need to have the word out about them.

Many of our friends are involved in different areas of fundraising and I know they appreciate the promotion help.

I support the Holy Cross school. I think the people who run it are top notch and I couldn't be happier with the progress thus far.

I support Literacy for Belize and as well as the books I brought with me for the two libraries I gave them to also have sent off letters to many of the authors I know to pass along a request to their publishers to see about some shipments at some point here...no positive response yet though from the publishers.
Also I am researching and rewriting in format for comics and children's books many of the Anansi stories and other Caribe and Mayan myths such as the Hero Twins etc in hopes that it will bring education, and unity.
As far as more formal volunteering goes it will have to wait until April when I pay my volunteer fee but if anyone just needs a hand with any of your other causes feel free to call on me.

We support the R.C. school friends of ours from Michigan just brought a suitcase filled with white out ,Band -aids,pens,rulers,pencils,back packs ,flash cards, folders, White out for teachers. They even brought leashes for saga.
When we were there to give them to the school a student was there in the office (Chris)and did not come to school because he had no supplies. No pen or pencil Ruler. We were so happy to help this poor student, just be able to go to school.
Mrs Kay (principal) says that they need composition books. Composition book is just a hard cover book with blank pages . The small kids use the small ones and big kids use big ones.
If anyone is traveling could they help the R.C. students, they are our future! We are in the process of setting up a web site. This school needs immediate help, we feel they have been neglected .We also may have a donor for children school books, thanks to the Michigan Couple. We will work with Calender girls so not to step on their toes. They have been spearheading this cause. Cheers to Calender Girls

We support lots of the Businesses, charities and even try to help some of our local friends on the Island.

It's not hard to find a "cause" in San Pedro, It's trying to figure out what cause(s) you are willing & able to support.

That is completely disingenuous, HavinFun. Stop it already.
