That's the dog that Teenah claims as hers when she's in town. Or does the dog claim her? Usually Teenah (or someone) ties a baby blue bandana around her neck.

No kidding. I talked to my buddy who was adopted by "Snowball" in January. He and his wife just lost a dog they'd had for years and would even be willing to pay the costs to ship her to their home in Oregon.

She's endeared herself to many, many people. She seems to have a good sense about the people she "adopts". I know it made me smile to have "white dog" come flop down under my table at Estel's on my first morning back this year. She's a survivor for sure.

Well we took her to the vet - they knew her, as she was one of theirs once upon a time - but the "owners" never took care of her, so the vet said keep her!

She now has her shots, flea and tick stuff, de-wormer, etc...so she is well on her way to being a happy dog!

By the way...her name now is Playa and she has a great new home with us in Tres Cocos. She is loving her morning runs along the beach and her big bowl of food at our door...Thanks to all for the help.

it made my morning to know that Playa has a home now. I was tempted to take her home last year, but it seemed cruel to take a dog that grew up roaming the beach all day long and transplant her into a condo in L.A. She is right where she belongs now! It says alot for her that an animal that has never really belonged to anyone has such a gentle and affectionate soul. I wish her a long and happy life with you!
