Shawna:

Do you work at the Outpost? Acouple questions for you...tell me more about your comment on "everyone at the Outpost still wonders about it." If you want to email me, my personal email is dlpetrich@comcast.net ....just curious of your thoughts. Also wondering if you or anyone else at the Outpost knows if Jan secured a storage locker prior to leaving for Belize. She had a ton of family photos as well as a few things from her mother who died shortly before her. I would be surprised if she shipped them to Belize, but a possibility. In the meantime, I am trying to find anyone who may have more information that we can inquire on her belongings. Thank you ever so much.

I just got some sort of "press release" from Jim...about how he is innocent. About how his company, J Squared Ltd (which as far as I know only contains him) backs him completely. This guy is over the top.

Supreme Court Grants Bail to Canadian Conman

[Linked Image] Last week Canadian James Jensen was charged with theft for swindling an American couple out of 50 thousand dollars in a phoney land deal. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison. But Jensen will soon be a free man again because today his attorney BQ Pitts applied for bail and Justice Adolph Lucas granted it. He'll have to post bond of $50,000, surrender his passport, and report to the San Pedro Police Station every Monday and Friday.

Prosecutor Trienna Young didn't object to bail but suggested bail of $20,000 would be reasonable but Jensen's lawyer BQ Pitts said $10,000 would be more suitable. Well Justice Lucas didn't buy that logic as he granted the bail of $50,000 plus two sureties who are Belizeans. Justice Lucas mentioned in court that the prosecution did not present evidence showing Jensen as a flight risk.

American national Robert Martinez alleges that he sent Jensen US$50,000 to purchase a piece of land in Punta Gorda. But Martinez claims he never got the land or his money back. Martinez has further alleged that Jensen did buy the land but then sold it to someone else.
