I guess there's only so much they can fit into a half-hour show. Honestly, you can say that the format is the same way for a lot of the HHI shows. THe very first show done in Belize was the same way. Young-ish realtor from Charleston area, says she can do her business remotely, looks at one house in Cayo, two houses in Corozal, before settling on one of the Corozal houses (btw, I've seen it for sale again in the last year).

I do not know about the condos, or the new owner. But the one and a half minutes worth of footage from around the island were absolute torture for me to watch sitting in Texas. Only 27 sleeps till.....

It's entertainment/eye-candy/fantasy fun ....
To give people an real orientation to the island in the scant minutes available would just not be possible, and for the average audience that would not be entertaining anyway.
It does create some positive energy about Belize and I have heard from a lot of long-lost relatives who wonder if I ever wear shoes.
The crew from HGTV I worked with was super-nice - they must have passed a test in patience, positive thinking and good manners before being hired.

It's great that they keep coming back!
