Chooch!
Wish you could be there to pour us those tidy bowl drinks correctly.... Where do we go to have one? Who did you train in San Pedro to prepare this evil brew????
I figure it this way. If Munichchick and I can't walk, we'll call sandshaker to come get us! If she chimes in, we'll call Bill!!

Debbie,

There are a number of places that can provide the blue "brain remover". We first assembled these one "hazy" afternoon at the Palapa two years ago. (The Palapa however does always have the required blue additive.) Perhaps the most practiced would be BC's. Either Ernie or Mar'ceo are VERY adept at preparing this, although they will both giggle and smirk while doing so.

On ice or up---
Equal parts: (Generally 1 1/2 shot each
Gin (Tanq or Bombay are best)
Vodka (the better the better)
1/4 shot or so of Blue Curacao

Ernie has informed me of a recent visitor who drank the evil thing on a Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and actually survived to tell about it.

Hope you guys have a great time.

Is Blue curacao sweet? I know it has orange flavor. (Odd to have a blue color and orange flavor. I thought it was coconut or something originally, until ChooChoo educated me) If it's not, this would be like injesting jet fuel!!! Better bring a seat belt for my bar stool. [Linked Image]

The Blue Curacao although not really sweet, remarkably tones down the gin and vodka. It is specifically interesting when it mixes up with the juniper of the gin. Too little BC or too much BC will not ruin the drink, but it will make it less appealing. That is of course, unless you are on your third or more, and then you WILL NOT GIVE A DAMN.

(According to some it is NOT possible for it to be less appealing. These are people with no sense of adventure, so pay them no heed.)

It is o.k. to practice at home.

We are ready to have one of the blue bombs. . .in addition to rum punches and Belikins. What is the official name of the blue drink? I have heard a few, or does it have one? I will make my introduction to this drink at BCs, I think, so I can watch them giggle and know a little bit about the story behind it!
