I have lobbied the BTIA for a couple of comp hotel rooms close to the Sunbreeze for my staff. I also need a golf cart or two for the 10 days. If any of you can help please let me know. As of now I have 72 people signed up and the list is growing.
Amanda, Jan, Phil, Can the SPBA help out with lobbying the BTB for support?
Thanks!

Hard to get rooms comped in Feb this far in advance. Maybe try Holiday Hotel. I know Ramon's won't comp in high season and The Palms usually has high occupancy so probably won't have the space. Belizean Reef - probably booked too since it's so small. Not much else near The Sunbreeze.

Here is a quick update. I have all 44 rooms at the SunBreeze booked, 7 at SunBreeze Suites, one at Belizean Reef, a pending room at Portofino(Thank you!) and one at Pedro's Inn. I have spoken with Gus Tabony and the Landing area will be in great condition for the event. Thanks to those of you offering support. I will keep you posted on my needs.

I'll see you guys Monday! I have 129 participants this year. The jump plane will be in on Thursday evening. Tom Corl is getting the LZ cleared and the fences taken care of. Thanks Jan and Sandra for your generous donation.
I need a gas golf cart for a few weeks if any of you have an extra one to spare.
The BTB has come through with a bit of sponsorship to offset costs. Fuel and the fuel truck are MUCH more this year. It's always something!!!
See you guys around town or stop by and say hi at the SunBreeze or the landing area.

Boogie In Belize Skydivers

The sixth annual Boogie in Belize Skydiving event is now over, but here are some excellent pictures taken by skydiver and photographer Whitney Robinson who is a massage therapist from Alta Loma, California. She has a passion for adventure, thus thrilled to be a part of Boogie in Belize since 2006; she is also an avid snowboarder, enjoys the outdoors, biking, river rafting, scuba dives and enjoys the underwater world of the Great Belize Barrier Reef.

Thanks for posting those photos - I have not had a major anxiety attack in a long time and I'd almost forgotten what it felt like.
