I do not think the bar is open, but you DO know the OP, Tim. Sorry, I will not out him, but it's easy to figure out....and I gave you a clue.

You call that a bikini top? Even at Fido's, the biggest beach bar on the island, the staff all wear T-Shirts.

I just had a look outside at all the women having a swim and the majority have t-shirts on. That tells me it's still pretty conservative around here.

I think you would have a hard time here finding local women to dress in a swimsuit for a job. Time will tell.

Simon what rubbish - one of the tagged 'bartenders' at casey's boatyard bar is indeed wearing a bikini top with a sleevless low cut blouse over it, and there are bellies bared, backless tops all around the island at bars and restaurants, as one would expect in a no shoes no shirt no problem environment. many bartenders/barmaids wear spaghetti straps or bare tanks - as do most patrons. swimming in a tee shirt is common for most women as a matter of sun protection and modesty, sure. i never suggested that this guy's ad will be flooded with floosies applying to wear itty bitty polka dot bikinis in order to earn a buck (or a half). you're the only one who's shown interest thus far. keep those moobs undercover dude! laugh

I have lived there - why so uptight with the bolding? i am more concerned with the ridiculous RE developments, dangerous eco-destroying over-dredging and lack of infrastructure than bikini bars. and the increase in violent crime is really something to look at. the island means so much to many of us.

I called and they said the uniform is shorts, a sarong, and a full coverage top. U r right, there are more important things to do if u want to preserve the island's beauty.
