OK, and I have to admit I'm not finding a soul that will admit to using the chicken "feets" for anything more than doggie chow. Yet, you put cowfoot soup on the menu and it's gone in minutes! Anyway, sorry, I seem to be hijacking, but I just find it odd.

As to where I buy meat in San Pedro, I go to both Sausage Factory and Lino's.

Call in Andrew Zimmern. He'll fix you some chicken feet.

Back to the beer - I buy the case and leave the bottles for the cleaning crew to cash in. I know it is a bit of a hassel for them to carry in, but I was told this was very common. (please advise if I should not do this)

Also buy the water in bulk. But we did not care for the little bags so much. I see a bad future for them. At least the water bottles have some recycle uses until they leak.

Play, Love, Share and Enjoy - it doesn't last forever make sure you get the most out of it.

I know where the Sausage Factory is located, but where exactly is Lino's?

LOL! The chicken feet are really scary until you get used to them. I hear they make a very nutritious broth due to the collagen that is rendered, but I have yet to take that leap myself.

I was always told not to give chicken bones to dogs, but maybe the feet have no bones.

You can give only raw, uncooked chicken bones to dogs and cats, they don't splinter when raw.

iluvbelize is correct. Raw chicken bones shouldn't be a problem. Feet do have bones. That is why they are so deliciously crunchy.

Digressing terribly, there is a huge movement for feeding raw chicken, bones and other feedstuff to dogs. Not one I am part of, but there are certainly strong advocates for this feeding style.

Back to the topic. Linos is on one of the last roads on your left as you are going South on Middle Street. Opposite Pan Dulce bakery and I believe on the same street as Gecko Graphics. I have the worst sense of direction in the world, so hopefully someone will step in and correct me if I'm wrong. I just get around by instinct.

I heard (not saying it is right) that people feed their dogs chicken bones here because the bones do not splinter as much as the ones coming from chickens raised elsewhere.

Any thoughts on that Colly or anyone?
