oh............theres a podium!!

One of my gripes, Let me see, Podium - what you stand on, lecturn - what you stand behind and read from.

Does it slant to the "left?"

75.8% visitors from USA 6.7% from Belize, but it is a BZE board. I have an idea - how about screening and banning all post originating in the USA. You could also stop all vistors coming in from the USA and just take their money.

Freedom of speech and sharing ideas means, you own the board, you are free to restrict both. I respect that, but haven't I seen post from Admins commenting on closed-mindedness of Americans?

I can't help but notice a majority of the posters in favor of deleting this section, have posted in this section multiple times.

Why is that Captain Ron? Don't know boss.

I was here before the USA section was created and was on the verge of leaving because I had to sort through the crap. I stayed because the crap had it's own toilet. I would like to think the crap will move elsewhere, but I doubt it.

In addition to this one, there are 2 other Belize message / forum/ boards that I am aware of. They each seem to have their own personalities

One of them appears to me to represent / input from Belize posters outside of A/C. The other one seems to be more humorous or controversial. This board seems to be more knowledge / information sharing relative to A/C and CC. The USA chat section has been my way of keeping up with hot political topics affecting the in states. Other than a few, I appreciate and respect the knowledge of the posters here and will miss their interpretation of current events. Cheers, guys and girls (please also let me know where you "land")!

My hope that elimination of this section doesn't evolve into yet another Belize message board that could serve to further "water down" communications.

I never posted on it but I certainly enjoyed reading it daily. Thanks for all the entertainment, I will miss it.
No one was forced to read it so I am not sure why the whining.
Oh well.

Couldn't be a hatred of USA could it?

As a free thinking adult I reserved the option to click or not click on the USA section. Personally I stayed out of most of the debates, but I read them. I also invoked the ignore on several extremists who had nothing to add, but were quick to put other posters down or beat the same dead horse over and over.

USA Chat has developed into a thoughtless, "you tubed" personal attack forum. Very little original thought was being expressed except by a few articulate posters. Administrators sometimes fanned the flames and when the team lines were drawn a lot of name calling and "ignoring" started. The irony of it all is that when we are all in Belize together politics never gets brought up!

If you want to be involved in some great debate about politics come on over to www.dropzone.com and go to the "Speakers Corner" forum. It makes for some great reading and debate.
