how about debbies beach house.would that be a terrible cart ride?the info says 10 min walk from the capricorn

AzBob - Agree about water being smoother (faster and prettier too). I prefer a boat by far any day----- but that is just me.
I don't know where Debbie's beach house is ....... sorry.

I think Debbies is before White Sands, and is typically do-able unless there has been a lot of rain....

If not, take the ferry! Its all good.

There is a really bad mud hole near White Sands, that I won't attempt to go thru with my golf cart when it has any water in it at all.

Don't worry it will be a great road with no problems once the East-West connector is in place.

Yep just past tres cocos it gets really bad and continues to be bad for quite a ways. Tres cocos is a more mature community that has put an effort into their road.

As for the weather in February ??? It is so mixed up this last year I wouldn't bet on anything. We just had January weather last week. Last year I had house guests in February which is normally a great month to dive. Not so this year - bad winds, rough seas, et. What's the old saying? "You pays your money and you take your chances."

This February it was sunny and calm winds from February 10th to February 25. It was the first time we jumped every day of the boogie in five years. In the previous four years we had a total of seven weather hold days out of 40. The first year we only had one bad day. I like February in SP. Harriette, is your camera ready??

Road report for Thursday Oct. 22 (Done on Electric Cart)
From Roundabout at Richie's to the Bridge, lots of pot holes, some deep and lots of water ruts, just terrible!
From Bridge past Reef Village up to Legends (Formerly Sweet Basil) is dry, flat and smooth. isolated pot hole, smooth sailing
From Legends to Palapa Bar. some pot holes, 2 or 3 deeper ones but drivable
From Palapa Bar to Akbol, some pot holes, 2 or 3 deeper ones but drivable
From Akbol past Grand Caribe Resort to Lazy Croc BBQ , some good stretches, a few water holes, drivable.
From Lazy Croc BBQ to White Sands, more frequent and deeper holes, turned around behind Pescador......
