I didn't intend to start another war. I just wanted potential visitors to see the other side of the spectrum, because it seems like it's usually the high profile resorts that get talked about here. Not everybody can afford US$250 per night, or would rather spend their money on restaurants, excursions, etc.

i didn't look there for a bad review. someone sent it to me months ago in an email and i searched my old email for it.

i have my own bad review from really good friends. its just a spoken one and not written down. very similar to the one referenced above.

GOOD FRIENDS OF MY FAMILY were basically run out by loud meanspirited rudeness.
and were sleeping on my doorstep the next morning to get the heck OUT.

that tells me a lot. I don't need tripadvisor. that review just said it real well.

i have nothing against anybody, but for my 2 cents - i could not imagine traveling all that way and not staying on the beach. period. JMO.

not sure what you were trying to say, but there are dozens of past posts on lodgings (near a beach) for $100 a night or less, but if it was a just-the-other-side-of-the-coin post, perhaps you should include them too?
