No bigger curse in the world than to taste like chicken.
This is the best idea so far to control the population of lion fish, a good recipe!

AC, What is that rash across your lower chest/upper abdomen? Did you get stung?

It was good, quite boney but if you eat it with your hands real easy to work around them. And yeah the seasoning shakers I got are huge from spog i need to break them down to smaller containers so i can control the flow easier. seasonings werent OVER done though. came out quite well.

Martin - No I got lucky, I think i got him while he was sleeping or something. I had to sneak up on him real stealth like though so not to surprise or awaken it!

I am one who has defended spear fishing as a ethical way to harvest fish to eat. Having said that, I wish those who participate would first take the time to learn to identify the fish they want to harvest and not just kill something hoping it will be good to eat.

Vile is a bit much? They're not indiginous and are voracious, thats all. Nature will balance it. I saw my first one in Belize at Half Moon Caye last week. Stunning fish, but dont feel bad taking them out.
