this is to Verison specifically.....You claim you stayed in the Garden Suite for one month...which month? and I can assure you, you did not do any such thing, we knew who was staying there until the end of January. The owner came shortly there after and was awarded that suite in Supreme Court, so no one could rent it....so I will now call bulls.it.... Also this is your first post ever....so that also tells me and many others that you are full of it. And I am not being rude, I am simply telling the facts.

In Business and in Life....you will never please all the people all the time....however if someone knew how to run the hotel business, they would make sure they catered to people who would enjoy a little fun in their life....if not, the owner who originally gave us the lease, had arrangements with another hotel and could accomodate those who wanted quiet......if you ask someone to pay a lease on the property, you have to give them the opportunity to operate to make the lease as well as pay the workers and sustain a living.....you dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Any one out there knows my dog, Alf, knows he only barks at undesirables....lease states I need my own bar security...he is it. He doesnt wander around the restaurant, he is usually wandering the beach taking care of hotel guests to make sure they dont have any problems.

i am confused totally now as SamRay indicates they own the lease is it linda and Patrick that run the place did run the place or what.

Ok Gaz...will attempt not to offend....

Linda and Patrick took over the restaurant only...not the bar...they got suckered by the owner to pay alot of money (lease wise) as the owner told them they would get the bar if they paid the money and started the restaurant....however he also told us the same....long story short, they paid alot and the laws of Belize state that you cannot just kick someone out of their livelihood without sufficient notice...I believe that Linda and Patrick took the owner at face value...oops.....they did not do their due diligence....and at the end of the day, they will be the ones who pay for it. And truly I feel sorry for them because this is classic of the owner....he has done this to more people because he is a bully and feeds on the weak.

I do not who you are, based on your answers and desparate way of how you are speaking you must be the abnoxious and rude bar renters, have you notice something, even people at corona del mar and other people in blog are tired of the loud noise, i stayed at the garden suite for one month, my name is charles porter and if you want to see my passoprt i can assure you that i traveled to belize and i stayed at coconuts, i became good friends of linda and patrick and they very goods friend of the new owner. The took me fishing and they were wonderful people, Patrick and Linda never did intend to take the bar, they did not have any intentions to take the bar and the new owner never did offer them the bar. I believe when i complained and other guests in the resort were complaining that is when the new owner decided to remove the obnoxious and rude bar renters as far what linda and patrick informed me but i am just a guest at the resort, now from knowing these people from bar, i think i will never come back to the island. Patrick and Linda are nice people and these obnoxious and rude renter from the bar are ruining their business.

Message for samray, you cannot depend on your livelihood on someone else property and business. If you need to contact me you can send me e-mail to proud1940@live.com to verify that i was a guest a coconuts and i did receive a refund from hotel of the amount of $1,358.00. I will send you the record if you want the same i send the new owner to file agains you in court.

On another note guess I have to apologise for this thread getting to this point I only wanted to find out about my good friend Patrick but it opened a can of worms. Hopefully it can be put to bed as this forum is not really for airing local problems between business's this wont be the first and surely wont be the last where there are problems with leases, I have my own storys with leases and I never want another one or at least not one where I have to invest anything in it.
