I think Marty could more honestly state that he was asked to remove the thread by all the folks actually involved in buying advertisement/marketing space/efforts on his website for their businesses.

(Seriously... you set up the board, and you can do whatever you want. Those that need the original 'public service announcement' can still go find it. Everyone's happy ;-) )

marty i'm not picking at you. i just call things like I see them, just like a few other posters here do. i agree you should nuke away at whatever posts you wish to. but please, keep it real, we can all respect each other and still have fun if we don't resort to treating each other like hapless morons.

And if I may, it would be helpful if the moderator actions were noted / with reasoning for locking / removing a thread. Like when I edit my posts it provides a date stamp with an optional justification.

Unlike others that asked you to delete, I was interested in this thread because I am a beachcomber that walks my dog on occasion and it is helpful to have a heads up. I found the remarks curious and felt that there was more to the story - guess we will never know.

But that is just me....
