Well I won't be happy till I see France on the plane home. Of course England's victory as forecast yesterday by Swanno will go a long way, but France do not deserve to be in South Africa. Ask any Irishman.
However there is much to worry about before the final whistle tomorrow. Heskey or Crouch? Green or James? Cole or Lennon? it goes on. And can the old theory about Gerrard and Lampard playing together be finally laid to rest?
This is a must win game for England, preferably preceded by a draw between USA and Slovenia.
So now we have to wait in front of the TV with fingers crossed.
Oh by the way, before the England game (so I can't be accused of making excuses) the Addidas ball is crap. There have been only a couple of free kicks on target, and a plethora of overhit passes. the ball is clearly hard to control and is detracting from the quality of the football on view.
But we will still win.....
