A draw could also see us through but we would need USA to draw with Algeria AND we need to score three more goals than USA. truth is Capello has had to scrape the barrel to put a squad together. He took at least four injured players (Barry, Ferdinand, King,James) plus Rooney who has had a series of minor niggles over the past 3 months or so. He talked Carragher out of International retirement and failed to talk Scoles into following him. To that he has added several players clearly not at their best (Terry, Carrick,Gerrard) plus one almost never plays well for England (Lampard), What does all this say?
We'll see tomorrow. I just hope we play like we are in a World tournament.

I hope he plays Rooney on his own up front with Joe Cole on the left, Lennon or SWP on the right Lampard and Gerrard in the middle alternating their support for Rooney with Barry holding midfield.
