Just an update with a little side note that may be of help to some of you - I am on a mailing list that emails me when Amazon features books for free. When I clicked the link using my computer and it went to Amazon.com they came up at $2.00. On the left hand side a little box said, "You are in Latin America. If you'd like to change your location, please do so" and I changed it to the U.S. and voila - they were free. I thought that was interesting. So beware of price changes.
That's the only problem I have with Kindle/IBooks, if you're an avid reader the charges can add up fast. IBooks has been having some pretty good books for free and you can always read the classics for free on both. The free or discounted books are a good way to find new authors and then they hook you and you end up buying more of their work. It's win/win. But on the other hand, some of them are truly terrible.
With all of the buzz about The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I'm going to have to download the sample and see what it's all about.
