i have the kindle app on my phone too, so if i get stuck in a line somewhere i can continue reading from wherever i was at...
i am normally reading like four books at once, depending on my mood, so the kindle is IDEAL for that.

Thanks guy. I'm going to order it. And pick it up in the US in October. The US credit card information is really all i care about!
BTW, The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and the next book are super catchy. Let me know if anyone has #3 on the island!

Thurston and I each have a kindle so we can download different books and trade off. Discovered our iPad will only accept one amazon kindle account. I think the apple app does not have quite as good a selection as kindle and the books are a little more expensive. The new $139 price for the kindle is great and if you are an avid reader much more economical then shipping books down. Agreed Elbert, the lit is great.

Sorry, BrusselSprout, I don't have "The girl who kicked the hornet's nest" on the island, but I did just finish reading the hardcover a couple of weeks ago. It was good but didn't capture me as the first two did. Perhaps the Steig Larsson just didn't have the opportunity to brush it up before his death. So sad there will be no more great books from him.
Taken from article about Mr. Larsson: "During 2004 Stieg Larsson made minor adjustments to his two finished books and finished the third. When he died in November 2004, it was only a few months before the first book of the Millennium-series was released to the Swedish audience and became an immediate success."
A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?
