The Caye Caulker community is in shock tonight after a suicide in that village this afternoon.

It happened at around 1:20 when well known resident, Patricia Holden shot herself to the chest with a 25 pistol.

Her husband OJ Holden, the owner of Oceanside Night Club, reported it to police.

Very sad news about Pattie's death. She was a hard working lovely lady.

My heart goes out to OJ at this time. I am at a loss for words.

This is terrible and sad news. Condolences to all of her family. May she rest in peace.
