this little guy just showed up. he is small, bout 1/2 the size of the others.
i have 2 more shots to get. one showing his purple tail feathers, and one of him sitting on my finger.
in my past life in colorado, i had hummingbirds sit on my finger all the time. but the ones around here are too nervous.
but this one does!

barnacle, 18 yrs old? is it digital? i do not like to be envious, BUT I AM!!! so far nothing but ruby throats here on galveston bay. they are so territorial, no one can get near them or the feeder.
