If you guys see them land, ask them if they can stick around for a few weeks. I could use that thing!!

And strangely enough Fat Albert is a US Marine Corps airplane and the crew is all Marine even though they support the Blue Angels. They also from time to time perform a JATO where they fire rockets to get them airborne more quickly.

If you do want to make it sinister, these planes are used to test all kinds of military equipment and weather equipment. They put the stuff inside, have complete labs, and don't put ID on the planes. Then they fly them at all kinds of speeds and altitudes to test the equipment. I can't imagine that this plane in BELIZE! Is being used for that! The biggie, a white, no lable 747, named Queenie, out of Pax would regularly impress us for loud, low level, and strange flying.

For what it's worth, that plane, or one like it, was flying around in the Banana Bank area when I was there in early January. Paratroupers were jumping from it and a bus was recovering them on the ground. I was told it was a British plane.

They also did not-infrequent very non-regulation super-low fly-by's when they had the harriers.

I remeber that too Diane, and Dave McGauhey and I used to certify a lot of them including the Harrier Pilots and when we went out on overnight trips on the Manta IV they would do fly bys real low making the sea water shoot up behind them the Guests loved it plus it was pretty cool and a great sight
