I was not asking your opinion again as to whether to bring my dogs with me. I was trying to find out if this dog attack was a thing of the past. I no longer need your input on any post that I make, Bing.

I'll add my two cents ..... In my neighborhood it's fine to walk your dogs almost everywhere. Suggest you take an experimental walk on your own in the area you intend to stroll. In town you could ask Cathy at Pampered Paws, as she has a dog-walker that takes 6 at a time out for walks. Conditions change though and one or two bad owners can ruin it for everybody. We had a very bad dog-neighbor for a while and nobody could walk by safely. He moved along and the beach is safe and lovely again.

Thank you for your helpful feedback. I've been to SP many times now and have never experienced anything like this. Since my dogs are so important to me, I'm just trying to be prepared for the move in a way that lets me keep them safe.
