Wow this is still going on. I'd love to see this sort of fire and energy devoted to some of the really important social issues here in San Pedro. Let's hope that this passion continues into other constructive areas such as child abuse and exploitation, poisoning of dogs, lack of schools and medical care. All issues that could be solved with this sort of people power.

With the right Mayor in San Pedro I think you might just see that CollyK...

If construction continues and this thing is finished, I feel sure it will be vandalised beyond recognition within a short period.

A lighthouse at the cut is a wonderful idea and will save life, limb and property.
A nice big sign welcoming sailors to San Pedro would be a nice touch.
The mayor could be proud of something like that as a legacy.

No lighthouse is needed anywhere on AC. Proper illuminated channel markers for the reef channels serving the town ARE needed.

Colette, I agree, if facebook and internet could set the stage for the Arab Spring, surely it's possible here.

PUBLIC BATHROOMS would be a much better way to donate to the betterment of San Pedro and help ALL of the people of San Pedro including business owners and children.
How many people in San Pedro need a public bathroom once in a while? Well, being a lounge in the center of town I can tell you it is A LOT.

What else does a public bathroom create? You can sell advertising all over it (inside and out) and make money charging $1 per use plus give a few folks A JOB heart as bathroom attendant!!!!
This could become an income producer for SAN PEDRO and not a private party.
