I'm a tourist who's planning on moving to San Pedro in the next few months and spending a pile of money...however in my opinion this clock tower is an obscene display of poor taste, poor vision, and clear corruption. It gives me hesitation due to the, "if they can get away with this - then what's next?" factor.

This sounds very short minded to me, since San Pedro relies over 95% on tourism. If the Gringos don't like San Pedro anymore, then the dollars will be spend somewhere else.

Instead of voter registration cards, it should be copies of paid property taxes. How is it that we can pay our property taxes without some kind of input?
