A man was walking down the street when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A black hearse was followed by a second black hearse just behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash.

Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file. Curiosity getting the the best of him, the man respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and this may be a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?"

"My wife's" was the reply.

''What happened to her?"

"She yelled at me and my dog attacked and killed her."

He inquired further, "But who is in the second hearse?"

The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her and killed her as well."

A very poignant and touching moment of brotherhood and silence passed between the two men.

"Can I borrow the dog?"

"Get in line."

Did you hear what happened when the Dali Lama walked into Domino's?

He asked them to make him one with everything...

:-) Did you see the real Dali Lama's reaction to that joke when a interviewer told it to him. Just hilarious!
Of course he totally didn't get it!

Now THIS just about SAYS IT ALL!!!!

The following is the 2007 winning entry from an annual contest at TexasA&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.

This year's term: Political Correctness.

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Would it help if I added the follow up Diane?

The Dali Lama give the Pizza guy $100 and waits....

The waiter tells him.."change only comes from within...."

To be one with everything means to be unified with everything else. This is a main concept in Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. where one feels that everything else is a part of self. To be one with everything is one of the higher aims of such religions. smile
