We also have loads of white powdery sand on the Cayes. Seagrass is perhaps to their dislike.

My guess is that the PM knows more about this particular deal than any of us on the message board. A big hotel chain like that would naturally want an endorsement from GoB and who better to have an inside scoop on that than than somebody in GoB.

I guess they did thier homework and found out why they call it Drowned Caye.

I lived in Hawaii for 30 yrs, on the Big Island for 4 yrs and The Island of Hawaii is lacking in white sandy beaches, Kona has the best of the sandy beaches which is why it is more developed that Hilo, Pahoa, even Hawaiian Beaches doesnt have beaches...Kona does.

Latest update - minor set back. Four Seasons tried to send an advanced team to research the project. Problem, the pilot flew all over the Caribbean looking for it. They forgot to tell him it was in Central America.
