Anybody know anything about El Secreto? Is it built? Where is (or will) it be located? Owners? I have a client asking about it. Website looks like "artist renderings", not real photos.

Rebuilt by Graniel's on the site that was Salamander. Haven't been up there but hear it's soft open with finishing touches being applied. I believe it is owned by a Mexican couple, one of who sadly died very recently.

Search Diane Campbell comments - I seem to remember her recently visiting and having very nice things to say.

It is new construction on the old Salamander site and absolutely beautiful. They had their soft opening several weeks ago. The food is very good and the owners and staff delightful. I believe you can contact Amy, the manager, on their website or Facebook.

A very special place. Official launch is October 1.
Take a trip up to see it and take a tour. After they open for guests I think it will be harder to get inside the units because my guess is they will be full of very happy travelers. It's awesome.
The attention to detail is amazing.
Gorgeous pool and palapa dining area.
Food was good (not yet as spectacular as the setting but my guess is they will get there on this point). The menu is interesting and prices are very reasonable.
The drinks are mixed well and presented beautifully.
A wonderful addition to the island!!
